Religion Undeniably a platform for nationalistic sentiments, as many dissatisfied traditional elites had effectively used religion to reach the masses as they are dissatisfied with the abstract ideas of nation and human rights Colonial Expedition & Repression Concept of hardship wrought on colonies through resource exploitation and culturally insensitive policies that threatened to erode cultural roots of the indigenous people. Migration In the bid its manage labour shortage in a rapidly developing region, in the flux of migrant labour from China, India, and around the region exposed the colonies to competition that further eroded the control the indigenous people had on their country. Improvement to Infrastructure and Communication Facilitated in the transfer of people and idea over vast distances with greater efficiency aiding spread of nationalistic sentiments and movement.
